Gmax field safety testing in Arkansas
Gmax testing measures the shock absorption of a playing surface. Any results higher than 200G’s indicate a surface is harder, absorbing less shock, and therefore more likely to cause injury to users. Artificial turf does not show visible signs of damage as natural surfaces do, and therefore Gmax testing is recommended annually to ensure surfaces are safe for use or whether maintenance is required.
