Surface Performance Ltd are a FIFA, ITF & FIH accredited testing laboratory offering Gmax performance testing to all types of artificial playing surfaces throughout the USA including Atlanta, Georgia.

Surface Performance Gmax testing measures two things, absorption and impact. A 20lb missile is dropped in 10 locations on the field, three drops per location. The missle measure G forces upon impact which provides Gmax values for the surface. If the Gmax is higher than the accepted level, this means that the possibility of injury to users is too high due to the excessive force returned to the user.
