Gmax & HIC testing have become fundamental tests to have carried out on both natural and artificial playing fields in Malibu, California. Whilst your surface may look pristine it may be posing great risks to the users due to being too hard/soft.

Gmax & HIC (Head Impact Criterion) testing will measure the shock attenuation of the pitch, showing the level of force they return to the player upon impact. ASTM require no surface have a gmax rating of great than 200g’s to be deemed safe for use.
