Surface Performance are qualified to carry out gmax testing in Memphis, Arkansas and surrounding areas to ASTM standard F1936. Using our specialist F355 A-Missile we can calculate the gmax rating of a natural or synthetic field. ASTM require all fields to have a gmax rating below 200g’s to be deemed fit for use.

Artificial surface gmax values usually increase as the field ages. The speed of this increase are due to numerous factors, it is therefore important to have testing carried out 1-2 times per year to ensure the surface is closely monitored.
