HIC & Gmax testing carried out in line with ASTM f355 in Midland, Texas

The Gmax of a field is calculated by dropping the missile in 10 different locations across the field. It is dropped 3 times per location and an average is calculated using the final two drops. All test points must sit below 200g’s otherwise remediation would be required.

Testing should be carried out twice per year in order to monitor the numerous factors that can agect the properties of the playing surface.
