Gmax Testing in Fort Valley

Gmax testing is carried out to ascertain the performance characteristics of an artificial grass playing surface. Gmax testing is a measurement of impact attenuation, carried out in line with ASTM F355 standards, and considered to be a vital safety test in the industry.

If a surface is too hard, above 200g’s  according to ASTM F1936, it would be deemed unsafe for use as it exerts excessive impact on the users. This excessive force would result increase risk of injury or concussion to an unacceptable level.

Testing is recommended twice per year in order to allow for effective maintenance programmes and remediation if required. Please contact us using the form below to find out more about testing in Fort Valley.
