Our local accredited technicians use a specialist F355 A-Missile – a 20lb cylindrical weight which is dropped from 24inches in 10 locations across the pitch. The integrated accelerometer measures the magnitude of impact during impact and in turn, calculates the force a player is likely to absorb upon a collision with the surface. ASTM require no test location have a gmax rating of above 200g’s to be deemed fit for use.
