Gmax testing in Kentucky

Surface Performance offer state of the art HIC and gmax testing in Kentucky and all states in America.

Testing is carried out to test method ASTM F355 to ensure surface comply with ASTM standard F1936. To comply with F1936 surfaces must have gmax ratings below 200g’s. A gmax rating below 200g’s reflect a surface which can absorb sufficient force to protect the players from sustaining impact related injuries, including concussions.

HIC and gmax testing should be carried out bi-annually to properly maintain and monitor surface performance and player safety.
