Gmax & HIC testing in Westport, Connecticut to ASTM Standard F1936
To ensure all artificial and natural surfaces are safe for use in respect to impact attenuation, ASTM developed their standard F1936. To comply with this standard the surface must be tested to test method F355 and have no test locations with a gmax rating above 200g’s. Gmax and HIC testing should be carried out annually to effectively monitor player safety and surface conditions.
